Chapter Seven

Romans 1
17For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. 18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.

Natural Reveals Spiritual
Verse 20 is another major key to unlocking yet another door leading into this bottomless, and vast arena of the kingdom. God uses the natural things to reveal his spiritual truths. Thus the analogy of being pregnant. It’s a natural picture of a spiritual truth. It’s the same pattern that Jesus used through the teaching of parables. He used natural experiences to relay spiritual truths. But no one could understand them because they were not walking with their spiritual minds, but they instead were trying to interpret his spiritual message with their natural logic and “that’s” how we’ve come to have so many different denominations and belief systems.

Natural Logic Emphasizes Limitations
From the beginning, the conception of the law, to this hour on this day, there has been an explosion of different and divided religions, denominations and doctrines because of this simple thing. The church claims to be walking in the spirit, but the reality is, it’s actually walking in it’s own carnal logic that it’s painted with spiritual titles. But it’s fruit is soured by natural thinking, which only reinforces religion. There will be some success at bringing people to the cross through religious tactics, of course, God uses any means he can, in spite of ourselves. But all that happens then, is that the person may be saved from their sinful lifestyle, but now they’ve been bound all over again through religious law enforcement. They’re never really free at all.

But as you move into this new day of the kingdom of truth, you will find the more you allow things to be removed from your past, the more you will experience the true freedom God has intended for you from the beginning. The more willing you are to realize that what you were taught may have gotten you to where you are, but it’s holding you back from where God want’s you to be, the more you realize that and let go of all the religious baggage that you’ve accumulated, the sooner you will be able to have a life-changing experience in crossing the threshold of the kingdom of God.

More Than Just Learning Information
If you seriously give this some thought, you can see how denominations have not only a tendency but a probability to fence you in with it’s boundaries of what you can and can not do, of what you can and can not say, and even can and can not believe. The more you mature in Christ, the greater the freedom you’re able to walk in, but the harder it is to exercise that freedom within the boundaries of religion. Again, this course is not to fill you with more information. It’s to transform your nature through the revelation of Jesus Christ who is in you, giving you both the will and the power to do his good pleasure. All you have to do is receive in faith what you don’t understand, accept in faith, that which your mind can not comprehend. After this has been accomplished, the Holy Spirit will take it from there.

God uses the natural things and experiences to reveal to us spiritual truths. These are the dimensional things that you will be learning. There is an order to all of this. I need to know the Scripture’s stories and principles as they were written. I need to know about David and Goliath, the history of what happened. That is the 1st dimension of truth. It’s the historical event that happened. There literally was an ark and a man named Noah. There literally was a flood. All of those things literally happened, but let’s not spend all of our time attempting to prove or explain how it all happened. Faith, like truth, needs no defense or explanation.

Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Revelation 1
8I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty

These keys are what reveal the spiritual truth beneath the surface of the stories and principles that are written. Understanding the historical events as they unfolded is the 1st step leading into the kingdom. Understanding the original definition of words and finding their true meaning will enhance your ability to see the pattern that lies beneath. For instance, let’s take that story of David and Goliath:

1 Samuel 17
1 The Philistines now mustered their army for battle and camped between Socoh in Judah and Azekah at Ephes-dammim. 2 Saul countered by gathering his Israelite troops near the valley of Elah. 3 So the Philistines and Israelites faced each other on opposite hills, with the valley between them

Dimensional Confrontations
This passage looks simple enough. It’s just setting the stage where this great battle that would go down in the archives of churches throughout the world as the greatest feat this great leader David did to establish the adoration of a nation for his apparent fearlessness of a man so great as this Goliath.

To the natural mind, there is nothing here that appears to be anything more than hard to pronounce places in a country that the major majority of believers who read this passage will never be. But remember, ALL Scripture is inspired by the Spirit of God almighty. He is a three dimensional God, inspiring a three dimensional man who was created by this three dimensional God, to document these notorious events which of course have a three dimensional meaning.

The first dimension of anything is always the natural situation. It’s the “yesterday” of truth. It’s the framework of the building. It doesn’t have any roof yet, or wiring, it’s just the shell of what’s yet to come. It’s the “type and shadow”. It’s not to be emphasized and camped on. It’s the step that allows you to reach the next one to take you to a higher elevation of truth.

So, in this passage, there were two armies that were staging a battle. The way the verse unfolds, the author took the time to name the actual places. There is a reason for these names. They play a powerful role in illuminating the power of the blood of the Lamb which is where the 3rd dimension is, it is illuminating the true nature of Christ. But because we are only looking at the first dimension here for the time being, just know that the Philistines were on one side, and the Israelites were on the other, and there was a valley in between that had a stream running down it.

And at the beginning of every day, for 40 days (another key) this giant who had 6 fingers on each hand, 6 toes on each foot, stood 6 cubits and a span, his spear weighed 6 hundred shekels of iron, he was covered from head to toe in brass, all of these elements and weights are signifying things. The number 6 is the number of man. The fact that it specifies fingers and toes is dealing with works (hands) and walk (feet). Brass is another picture of judgment. It’s what the altar of sacrifice was made of, as well as the laver being over-laid with it. There’s so much more to this story than meets the eye.

Every day for 40 days (the number for testing and birthing) this guy would taunt the Israelites. He would never actually approach them, but he would intimidate them from a distance. There is a huge revelation that is building up here once you put all these elements together. And that’s what we’re trying to do. Because if all I do is memorize the story without any application, there’s no benefit to my life at all. It’s just more knowledge.

So, if the first dimension is the historical point of view, what’s the second dimension? The second dimension is taking the principle of the story from the first dimension, and applying the moral value of the story to your life “now”. That’s the “today” of Hebrews 13:8. It’s the “which is” of Revelation 1:8. It’s where the majority of all of the churches out there today flourish in. It’s what we’ve become best at. It’s where literally millions of copies of books have been written and sold, sermons preached, colleges built, and people moved to tears through. It’s a wonderful place. It’s where we, the people of God are given the responsibilities to exercise the authority God has given us. And we love this place because it makes us feel needed and useful.

Revivals have derived from this dimension of truth. Denominations have formed from those revivals and men have established standards to be followed by all who wish to become affiliated with their denomination. Generations have come and gone in experimenting and enhancing their abilities to be better and better at relaying the applications that these stories have provided. They’ve gotten so good at it that many of them are no longer willing to even consider that there is yet another dimension to God’s grace and mercy. In fact, it’s this second dimension that has been so familiar to them, that is now becoming the reason why they’re becoming stagnated in their relationship with God. Instead of maturing further into the freedom of truth, they become hardened at the prospect that freedom is greater than discipline.

Ministry Works Wear You Out
It is beginning to become more and more common to see people in ministry be publicly brought down through secretive sin or they’ve just worn themselves out so much that they just walk away from it all together. Like the Old Covenant, it was never intended to be a place where man took up permanent residence. Just as the purpose for the first dimension of truth is to equip you with the ability to be led into the second, the purpose of the second dimension, was to lead us into the third.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the first or second dimension of truth. It is essential that we know the historic past and the value of the moral principles that are still applicable for us today. It’s the order God established. You can’t get to the third dimension without first personally experiencing the first and second. This is not to say we’re to get rid of ministry in the church. All active dimensions are necessary.

What this is saying is, the ministries can still go on, just not from our manipulation through programs and seminars. We still lay on hands, we still teach, we still have spiritual infants that need to go through the baby steps in order to enter into maturity. But always be aware that each level of truth is all a preparation for the next. The anxiety comes when it’s decided that after you’ve been attending church for a while and proven your dedication, you can then become involved in some ministry where all the others who have “made it” are at also. It’s not the goal to be in a ministry in the church. The goal is to graduate from works-based thinking and reproduce after your own kind through the person of rest.

Dimensions of the Tabernacle
The layout of the tabernacle is the blue-print of these dimensions. That’s why it was so important for Moses to capture every detail God showed him on the mountain. It was through this framework that God was establishing a new government that would prepare the nation for the coming of the Messiah in the flesh. The tabernacle was a natural collaboration of elements and duties, all of which depicted the person of Christ. The priests had to acknowledge the altar of sacrifice and the laver before entering into the tabernacle of ministry.

The altar of sacrifice is the pattern of salvation. No man can come to the father except he gives invitation to the Son, who was the ultimate sacrifice. It’s all about Christ. That’s what this third dimension is all about as well. It’s illuminating the nature of Christ in every story, in every event, in every article of the tabernacle. The altar of sacrifice is where we are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. It is also where many have built their platforms and permanent living spaces. They’ve never moved beyond the cross. These are the same who also emphasize the death of Jesus over everything else.

They can’t accept the fact that he died once and for all. Instead they teach that he died only for those who accept him. But those that reject him, his act on the cross doesn’t reach those people. But this is just not true. They say the words, but their beliefs and actions say otherwise. Note that the last sentence you just read incorporates all three dimensions. What I say is my mind manifesting, it’s the 2nd dimension of spirit, soul, and body. My beliefs is the core of my self, it’s where my spirit resides. And my actions are of course, what my body language is saying, it’s the surface of what lies beneath. And it shows just how out of alignment we can be.

Our mind is saying one thing, but our bodies are doing something completely different. And our minds aren’t even aware of what our bodies are doing because there is a veil that blinds the truth from our mind. You can say you are walking in freedom and you are living the life Jesus called you to live, but if your mind is blind, your body is actually true to your heart. It will walk in bondage because your heart is in bondage due to your mind being in control of your nature. It’s that old man that Paul speaks of that needs to die, but we keep giving our old man power to resurrect all over again.

So every time we think we sin, we find ourselves back at the altar of sacrifice asking for forgiveness after every infraction. That’s not freedom. That’s still being bound. True freedom takes you beyond the altar and into higher arenas of relationship with Christ. But if that’s all people have, is the surface relationship with Jesus, then let them walk there without condemnation from you. Dimensions of truth come through maturity of relationship, it’s all a process. Don’t be the one that causes others to abort their predestined process to maturity in their relationship with Christ by forcing something on them they’re not prepared to have grow in them. Plant the dimensional seed in them, but don’t choke them with it. Just plant the seed of life in them through love, and let the Spirit bring it into maturity.
